I'm in Love I'm in Love and I don't care who knows it!!!!!

SO.............Doug proposed!! For Christmas, his parents bought me a ticket to go to Oregon, so on Christmas Day at 2pm I hopped on the airplane so eager to see Doug and the Houck family. I arrived in Seattle around 3:30 and had a layover for a couple hours. I bought the book the Alchemist, and WOW!! Totally recommend that one! I then got on another plane and arrived in Eugene, Oregon at 6:40.. As I was walking out to see everyone, I started chatting with a girl. She was also on her way to see her boyfriend. I told her I felt like a returned missionary because everyone is waiting for me and is going to be excited to see me! haha I don't even know if she knew what a returned missionary was! oh well, maybe she'll look it up :) So sure enough, all of Doug's family welcomed me when I came out of the terminal. I hugged everyone, but I didn't see Doug....Suddenly, he comes around the corner with a big bouquet of beautiful orange, pink, and yellow flowers. All different styles and everything!! He looked SSSOOO Handsome too, as usual! He gave me the flowers and a huge hug.. he pulled back and pulled out a little black box, got on his knee in front of his family and the huge crowd that they had caught attention too, said "Kami, I love you!! Will you marry me?!" I felt like a little girl and a woman at the same time! My heart swelled and I yelled, YES!!! YES YES YES! He then put the beautiful ring on my finger! He picked it out all by himself! He did an incredible job, I've taught him well :) We're getting March 12 in the Draper temple and the reception will be the night before on the 11th. EVERYONE IS INVITED!! Kami and Doug's Wedding = PARTY TIME!!!! :) Love you all! The Church is True! Tooddles for now:)!!

I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go~

"It may not be on a mountain top, or over the stormy seas, it may not be at the battle front, my Lord will have need of me. But if by a still small voice he calls to paths that I do not know. I'll answer dear Lord with my hand in Thing. I'LL GO WHERE YOU WANT ME TO GO!" There are so many decisions that we are able to make in this life. Where to go to school, what to do on Saturday night, even what to wear each morning. But one of the biggest decisions we make, is who to marry??? We dream of this moment and when the day will come that we will find our Prince Charming! That we will find the man of our dreams :) Well, little did I know that when I was planning my life out, school, a mission!, a career, HE FOUND ME!! My Prince charming found me! He loved me from day 1 and never doubted!! I am marrying him on March 12th and I am so excited to be with him for ETERNITY! It's amazing how the Lord prepares people and guides them in the direction they need to go. I know that he has been holding my hand through my decisions and when I just wanted to give up, he picked me up. I couldn't be happier! The Lord lives and loves us! His plan is all knowing! We ask, and he gives us the light. I will keep serving and loving as he would, that's what we are sent here to do! I love you Lord, and Dougie..... I LOVE YOU INFINITY MORE TIMES THAN WHATEVER YOU SAY! :) Life is Fantastic!
